Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN), a non-profit local to Indianapolis, trains service dogs and helps to place them with families and individuals young and old who deal with disabilities. ICAN provides safety, friendship, and independence for kids and adults with disabilities. Furthermore, by training pups to help someone else, incarcerated men and women find purpose, gain hope, and learn new skills to successfully re-enter to the community.
Each year, ICAN holds its largest fundraising event, Wine & Wags. Historically, this event had been held in-person and many of the guests would've been featured on-stage. Due to the novel Coronavirus, the 2020 in-person event wasn't possible and therefore, they enlisted our help to bring their touching stories to the virtual stage.
We were so proud and thankful to be given the opportunity to help film and edit the interviews for their very first virtual Wine & Wags event. The impact ICAN has on its clients is undeniable. It was a truly moving experience to hear, first-hand, just how greatly individuals have been positively impacted by ICAN's mission.
